About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Vascular team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our Vascular consultants, nurses, and medical secretaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Vascular team, including typing, data inputting, photocopying, filing, and reception duties.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to achieve set timescales and deadlines.
  • Collect, sort, and prioritize incoming mail and correspondence.
  • Provide professional and timely communication links between patients, relatives, and medical staff.
  • Collect and return patient notes and medical records as required.
  • Book outpatient clinic appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Distribute clinic letters and send correspondence to patients and clinicians.
  • Listen to voicemails and respond to calls from patients and clinicians.
  • Scan and upload documents as required.
  • Make seminar room bookings and arrange meetings.
