Job Title: Children's University Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Children's University Coordinator. This role will involve coordinating various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our Dialysis Vascular Access Team within the Renal Department at Kent & Canterbury Hospital.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Dialysis Vascular Access Team, handling inquiries from GPs, patients, and other departments within the Trust.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of patient data, maintaining high standards of data management.
  • Transcribe clinical letters and correspondence from digital dictation, adhering to strict deadlines and formatting guidelines.
  • Display flexibility and adaptability in meeting the unique needs of our department and specialist services.

Requirements:
  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to use initiative and work independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues and clients in a courteous manner.
  • Previous experience working in a busy administrative environment.
Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with a range of administrative work procedures and software programs.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
