Background

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sport Development Officer to join our Sport and Active Health team at Canterbury Christ Church University. The successful candidate will be passionate about sport and physical activity, with a proven track record of delivering innovative programmes and sporting opportunities.

The Role

The Sport Development Officer will play a key role in engaging more people through sport, developing and coordinating a programme of activities for the whole University community as part of our Be Moved strategy. This will include delivering our Club Sport programme, assisting in the organisation of mass-participation events, and contributing to the wider delivery team workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate a programme of activities for the whole University community

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for sport and physical activity. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering innovative programmes and sporting opportunities, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
