Research and Innovation Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to support our research and innovation activities at the University of Kent.

The successful candidate will work as a member of the Research and Innovation Support (RIS) funding and awards team, facilitating the successful delivery of projects and University research goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support to research and innovation activities, including monitoring applications and outcomes.
  2. Promote funding opportunities to academic staff and provide support with application processes and deadlines.
  3. Assist academic staff in developing projects, including grants, consultancy, and tenders, to ensure they are well-written, fully costed, and meet funder and university requirements.
  4. Maintain an up-to-date record of research and innovation grants held by staff to enable progress evaluation against plans and metrics.
