Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Voice Coordinator (Academic & Inclusion) to join our team at Kent Students' Union. As a key member of the Student Voice department, you will play a vital role in amplifying the voices of our members, enhancing the student experience, and upholding our values of being bold, inclusive, and supportive.

About the Role:

The Student Voice Coordinator (Academic & Inclusion) will be responsible for coordinating and implementing key initiatives within the Student Voice Department, including event management, day-to-day support, and empowering up to 700 Student Reps, 40+ academic societies, 10 Student Networks, and the successful delivery of our 5 Liberation and History months. You will also work to support objectives within the 'Student-Led' theme within Kent Students' Union's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and implement key initiatives within the Student Voice Department.
  2. Provide day-to-day support to Student Reps, academic societies, and Student Networks.
  3. Empower up to 700 Student Reps, 40+ academic societies, and 10 Student Networks.
  4. Deliver the successful implementation of our 5 Liberation and History months.
  5. Support objectives within the 'Student-Led' theme within Kent Students' Union's strategy.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with good experience in working with volunteers, a track record in coordinating multiple projects, and a demonstrable passion for supporting students to change the world. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on important areas of work within Student Voice and work with inspiring student leaders in a dynamic and vibrant organisation.
