About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Reed in Partnership. As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting our programmes and services within the community, building relationships with local stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to engage with individuals who may benefit from our support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising Awareness and Promotion: Utilize referral opportunities, attend events, and partner with local organizations to promote our programmes and services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and individuals.
  • Referral Development: Identify and maximize referral sources, including repeat business and new partnerships.
  • Programme Delivery: Coordinate programme activities, ensure stakeholder engagement, and conduct initial assessments to understand participants' needs and barriers.
  • Partnership Development: Liaise with relevant partners to assist with barriers to employment and identify appropriate solutions and interventions for participants.

Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of working with a wide range of individuals, managing different needs, and selling or promoting a service or product.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement: Experience working in the community, fundraising, sales, or in a people-facing role.
  • Targeted Environment: Experience working in a targeted environment, with a focus on engaging with individuals who may benefit from our support.
  • Education: A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma, and GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).
