The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial principles and practices, with experience in leading complex projects and teams. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profit
  • Lead complex projects and teams to deliver commercial objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers
  • Manage commercial risks and opportunities to ensure the district's commercial success
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's business strategy

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in Quantity Surveying, business administration, finance or relevant field
  • Demonstrably significant experience of major programme delivery across a number of programmes of values of £100s of millions of pounds
  • Exceptional leadership and behavioural management qualities with proven experience of leading change
  • Strong understanding and experience of NEC and different contract forms and ways of contracting
  • Experience of building and leading complex supply chain to deliver engineering and/or construction projects
