We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our young people, including assisting with daily living tasks, managing behaviors, and promoting independence.

We are committed to providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge needed to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Manage behaviors and provide de-escalation techniques to promote a calm and safe environment.
  • Support our young people to develop independence skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Level 3 Children's and Young People or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle (company vehicle provided during working hours).
