Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Property Services finance function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely management information to pillar management and the UL Group finance function.
The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work across disciplines, including Commercial, Construction, and Group Finance. You will be confident in your ability to work as part of a team, but also comfortable operating in a sole capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a reliable Management accounting service to the business, ensuring all internal and external accounting and reporting requirements are met.
- Work with the FD/FC/MAs to provide divisional management information in line with Group and pillar MD requirements.
- Assist with budgeting and re-forecasting, as well as supporting tenders and business plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely management information, including ageing WIP analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to the development of ERP/IT systems and documentation of support processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Interest in and experience in commercial/project accounting and management reporting.
- Studying towards a recognised Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
- Accurate and numerate, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience operating variants of Microsoft Dynamics NAV platforms.
- Knowledge of JET reporting.
- Relevant industry or PE experience.
Location:
Swanley office, with possible 2-3 days travel per month to other Property Services offices.
