Job Title: Senior Hospitality Assistant

Join St Monica Trust as a Senior Hospitality Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and hospitality to our residents.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Hospitality Assistant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and drinks to our residents, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our care homes, including kitchen areas and resident rooms.
  • Work closely with our Chef to ensure that meals are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Assist with stock management, rotation, and ordering.
  • Deputise for the Chef as required, including cooking evening meals and breakfasts.
Requirements
  • Food hygiene qualification level 2.
  • Good standard of general education/GCSE maths and English.
  • Experience working in a care home environment.
  • Experience working in a catering environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of good food hygiene practices.
  • Knowledge of health and safety principles.
