Position: Finished Goods Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Afternoon Shift

Compensation: £11.59 PER HOUR

People Solutions Group is actively seeking a Finished Goods Warehouse Operative to support our reputable client located in Leicester.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid FLT Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift trucks and various material handling equipment.
  • Efficiently relocate pallets within the facility and ensure proper storage.
  • Oversee warehouse operations in accordance with system requirements and provided work instructions.
  • Prepare loading areas as per loading schedules and ensure documentation is signed.
  • Identify and report any product damages or quality issues.
  • Load vehicles as necessary.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any malfunctions.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure optimal functioning as per work instructions.
  • Participate in periodic stocktaking activities.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Collaborate effectively with Day Services and Shift teams.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and material handling.
  • Organizational skills and reliability.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to various tasks.
  • Team-oriented approach.
  • Must possess a valid FLT Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
