In the UK, our focus is on the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, supported by dedicated teams in various locations.

The primary objective of this position is to actively contribute to the Integrated Programme Team(s) and efficiently manage the tracking and coordination of purchased material requirements on behalf of the Programme Purchasing Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Management Information Health Reports to communicate programme purchasing status to the IPT & Executive Team.

• Advocate for the Purchasing Department and enhance the Programme Purchasing processes within the project.

• Serve as the liaison between the programme and the Purchasing Department.

• Oversee the tracking, coordination, and reporting of purchased material needs for various project phases, ensuring alignment with the programme schedule.

• Guarantee that all necessary documentation for purchased material requirements is submitted at each project milestone.

• Monitor material costs against budget targets and identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Initiate and secure approvals for purchase requisitions and Sales Orders to manage long lead-time material demands as necessary.

• Address and resolve issues related to purchased materials, including organizing transport and airfreight when required.

• Utilize Engineering DLOB, Long Lead Tracker tools, and monitor drawing releases to support purchasing activities.

• Manage programme purchased inventory, including initiating and executing material disposition processes.
