About the Role

Safran Seats is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aerospace Design Architect to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing the future product architectures that meet the evolving market requirements, positioning Safran Seats at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new product designs and structure the product in Smarteam
  • Manage product maturity and development in Smarteam
  • Lead design efforts for packages of work or small programs and develop and manage packages of work within the team
  • Manage a small team of engineers
  • Maintain engineering quality and integrity of work produced within their work package
  • Design and detail modeling of various suite components to meet Product Line requirements
  • Monitor and manage cost and weight targets
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers, and manage data transfer
  • Organize and participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the Product Line development process
  • Ensure successful integration of each design element with the product as a whole
  • Apply materials and processes appropriate to each design element and provide assistance to other team members
