PlugMeIn is broadening its scope of operations to align with its vision of providing Smarter Energy for Everyone. The introduction of our Heat initiative marks our entry into the low carbon heating sector, focusing on establishing a comprehensive heat pump service across the nation.
As a Renewable Energy Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating properties to assess their compatibility with air source heat pump installations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in HVAC systems and renewable energy technologies, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
The integration of heat pump technology, alongside our existing electric vehicle charging and smart metering solutions, will enhance PlugMeIn's commitment to facilitating the transition towards sustainable energy solutions in support of Net Zero goals. This new venture will empower a broader customer base to navigate their pathways to Net Zero, contributing to PlugMeIn's objectives for a more sustainable future.

Qualifications for the Renewable Energy Surveyor
- Experience in the heating and plumbing sector
- Proficiency in conducting technical surveys
- Ability to engage with customers regarding home projects, ideally with skills in measurement and knowledge of CAD drawings
- Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face interactions with clients
- Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Clean criminal record, passing a basic background check
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to travel and work at various locations as needed
