The Advocacy, Public Policy, and International team offers strategic advice to the government regarding policy and regulation, oversees the CMA's interactions with regulators and elected officials throughout the UK, and manages international relations.

Job Responsibilities

The Advocacy, Public Policy, and International (APPI) team, part of the Strategy, Communications, and Advocacy (SCA) Directorate, provides critical advice to the government on policy and regulation; manages the CMA's engagement with regulators and elected representatives across the UK; and oversees international relations.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the management team of APPI and the broader team located across the CMA's offices in the UK.

This role is highly varied, offering the selected candidate the chance to engage with multiple functions of the team, including assisting in team management, liaising with external stakeholders, and monitoring our portfolio of initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary, the Competition & Markets Authority contributes towards your membership in the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension scheme.
