Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's care team as a permanent staff member. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery and promoting the well-being of service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the changing needs of service users, taking into account their preferences and wishes.
  • Manage the service in accordance with agreed standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Undertake all aspects of medicine management, ensuring the safe and effective administration of medication.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service users, including those with additional support needs.
Requirements
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Registered with the relevant professional body, e.g. NMC.
  • Level 1 Registered Nurse qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in similar environments and supervisory roles.
  • Experience of working with service users, particularly those with additional support needs.
  • Knowledge of rota planning and staff allocation.
