About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality & Controls Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data assets related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to assess data completeness and identify potential gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Develop and implement metrics to effectively measure data quality across various ESG datasets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to establish robust disclosure controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate internal audits of ESG disclosures to verify accuracy and adherence to established standards.
  • Identify critical business processes that leverage ESG data and contribute to informed decision-making.
  • Maintain and update the Internal Control Model to reflect evolving data management practices and regulatory requirements.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of issue management processes and data controls reporting frameworks.
  • Previous experience in data controls management or compliance reporting within a financial services environment.
  • Proficiency in querying large datasets using SQL or similar tools.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary projects involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
  • A strong interest in ESG principles and sustainability is highly desirable.
