About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Information Governance Officer to join our Data Protection team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Trust's data protection efforts and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and distribute communications materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Conduct audits on data security and protection across the Trust.
  • Coordinate reviews of data protection incidents, DPIAs, and data sharing agreements.
  • Maintain the Trust's DPIA Log, Information Asset Register, and Records of Processing Activities.
  • Develop and disseminate lessons learned from data protection incidents and breaches.
  • Coordinate the Data Security and Protection Steering Group meetings.
  • Design and roll-out DSP training packages.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer in managing Subject Access Requests.
