About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at the MiChild Group. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safeguarding and Welfare
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, staff, and families accessing the nursery.
    • Implement effective safeguarding procedures to prevent harm or risk to children.
  • Education and Care
    • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
    • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a nurturing environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and support.
  • Health and Safety
    • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children and staff.
    • Report any health and safety concerns or incidents to the relevant authorities.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
