About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Family Care Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in residential childcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work on a shift basis, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid full driving license.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Level 3 qualification in Children's and Young People's Workforce (desirable).
