About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Machining & Process value stream, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and implementing Quality Control and Assurance initiatives within the special process area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
  • Facilitate audits and process walkthroughs to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
  • Serve as a delegate to the Quality Manager when requested.
  • Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement within the special process area.
  • Facilitate problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, RRCA, DIVEs, etc.
  • Align the quality strategy and objectives with the overall expectations of the organization.
  • Participate in PFMEA, design reviews, and formal gate reviews to enhance product and process quality.
  • Support process maturity improvement efforts within the clinic.
  • Assist the quality team with escape management to prevent and address quality issues.
  • Contribute to data analysis and project selection to drive quality improvements.
  • Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support special process triages, team talks, audits, and other quality-related activities.
  • Deliver OSI, FOD, and damage prevention training to operators.
  • Assist the team with containment and inspection activities as needed.
