Position Overview

Lead Frontend Engineer - eCommerce Solutions

Are you an experienced JavaScript developer looking to advance your career with a cutting-edge technology stack on innovative projects?

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects in a dynamic Agile environment, focusing on enhancing and scaling existing platforms while also contributing to new innovative projects. You will have the opportunity to manage all aspects of the frontend architecture, delivering high-quality Progressive Web Applications and Websites for a diverse portfolio of prominent retail clients.

Collaboration with UI/UX Designers will be key to ensuring technical feasibility, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, and developing reusable code and libraries. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Work Environment:

This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home part of the week while also engaging with the team in the office.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in JavaScript with a solid background in web development
  • Experience in mentoring and leading technical projects
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, and build tools like Webpack and Gulp
  • Understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL
  • Knowledge of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization
  • Appreciation for UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with high-traffic websites, particularly in eCommerce
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
