Are you a skilled JavaScript web technologist seeking a challenging role with a modern tech stack on Greenfield projects?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on position at a leading eCommerce payments solutions provider that has experienced significant growth and success in recent years.

As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, with a focus on Vue.js development to help evolve and scale the existing platforms as well as working on new Greenfield projects; you'll be able to take project ownership and manage all aspects of the frontend stack to produce high-quality, white-labelled Progressive Web Applications and Websites for a range of prominent retail clients.

You'll collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility, optimize applications for speed and scalability, and build reusable code and libraries. You'll also proactively analyze and suggest improvements, and as a senior team member, provide mentoring and support to more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend code using Vue.js and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and projects
  • Take ownership of projects and lead the development process from start to finish
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our technology stack

Requirements:

  • Strong JavaScript and Vue.js experience
  • Experience of mentoring and technical project leadership
  • Knowledge of other web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, Webpack, Gulp, and CLIs
  • Understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Appreciation of UI/UX design principles
  • Experience working on high-performance, high-traffic websites, with eCommerce experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
