Senior JavaScript Developer / Engineer (Vue.js) Opportunity

Are you a skilled JavaScript web technologist seeking a challenging role with a forward-thinking company? Onyx-Conseil is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative web applications.

As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, focusing on Vue.js development to help evolve and scale our existing platforms. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the frontend stack to produce high-quality, white-labelled Progressive Web Applications and Websites for our clients.

You will collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility, optimize applications for speed and scalability, and build reusable code and libraries. Additionally, you will proactively analyze and suggest improvements, and as a senior team member, provide mentoring and support to more junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend code using Vue.js and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility and optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Build reusable code and libraries to improve development efficiency
  • Proactively analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and processes
  • Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Strong JavaScript and Vue.js experience
  • Experience in mentoring and technical project leadership
  • Knowledge of other web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, REST APIs, and GraphQL
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Appreciation of UI/UX design principles
  • Experience working on high-performance, high-traffic websites, preferably in an eCommerce environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
