Senior JavaScript Developer / Engineer (Vue.js) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team at Client Server Ltd. as a Senior JavaScript Developer / Engineer (Vue.js) in Billericay. As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, with a focus on Vue.js development to help evolve and scale the existing platforms as well as working on new Greenfield projects.

About the Role:

As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using Vue.js
• Collaborating with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility and optimise applications for speed and scalability
• Building reusable code and libraries, and pro-actively analysing and making suggestions for improvements
• Providing mentoring and support to more junior team members
• Working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration with backend systems

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong JavaScript and Vue.js experience
• Experience of mentoring with strong technical project and people leadership skills
• Experience with other web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS; build technologies such as Webpack, Gulp and CLIs; REST APIs, GraphQL
• Good understanding of browser rendering behaviour and performance
• Good appreciation of UI/UX design
• Experience of working on high performance / high traffic websites, eCommerce experience would be great
• Collaborative with good communication skills
