We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with SEN, including those displaying challenging behaviours.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and behavioural strategies.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour interventions.
  • Support students during lessons, activities, and assessments.
  • Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, and external professionals as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with challenging behaviour.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping children succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).
