Due to expansion, a number of Residential Support workers are required for an established company that has both homes & supported living services for adults with leaning difficulties and complex needs and homes for children with complex needs in and around the Southampton area.

There are a number of day Support Worker roles available at their service in North Baddesley. The home is a shared home with 3 adults. They have learning difficulties and complex needs /challenging behaviour.

You are contracted to a 40 hour working week and work 4 days one week including a weekend and 3 days the following with a weekend off.

As part of the shift, day Support Worker staff will be required to have a sleep in. This is normally once a week, sometimes less. Presently the hours around this (20.00-22.00 and 07.00-08.00) are paid as overtime with the sleep rate of £63.92 on top.

Hourly rates are £10.45 - £11.55/hr.

As a support worker you will be required to assist with the needs of the adults with learning difficulties, complex needs, autism & challenging behaviour.

You will give support to vulnerable adults with their everyday living and promote their independence, to give the best quality of life within their agreed care package.

Duties will include cooking, cleaning, driving, personal care giving, report writing, dealing with challenging behaviours.
