Rowing Coach Opportunity

Emanuel School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced rowing coach to join our team. As a key member of our rowing department, you will be responsible for leading a year group or year groups under the direction of the Director of Rowing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a training program for a year group or year groups of the boat club, working closely with the Director of Rowing.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the Boat Club, including administration, regattas, training camps, logistics, and equipment maintenance.
  • Deliver rowing sessions safely and efficiently, ensuring boats are clean and rigged, and routine maintenance tasks are carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with full-time and part-time rowing coaches, teaching staff, and other team members to achieve our rowing goals.
  • Coach during all Games lessons, before school, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays as required by the Director of Rowing.

This is a full-time, year-round post, working term time and school holidays. The successful candidate must be available to work on Saturdays and occasional Sundays to coach, able to transport all pupils to sporting fixtures, and be willing to escort pupils to and from the boat house via train daily.
