Job Title: Assistant Contract Manager
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Contract Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Contract Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Contract Managers in the delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Provide administrative support to Contract Managers, including preparing project documentation, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project records.
- Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts, including reviewing and negotiating contract terms, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Site Management: Oversee site-based Site Managers, ensuring that they are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that projects are completed to the required quality standards.
- Tendering: Assist in the development of tender programmes, including preparing tender documents and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Design Review: Review design information, identifying potential issues and proactively seeking guidance to ensure that problems are overcome swiftly and agreeably.
- Reporting: Compile and submit regular reports to Contract Managers and other stakeholders, including project progress, budget, and resourcing.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in contract management or a related field.
- Skills: Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or business administration.
