Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Director to join our team at CV Library. As a Contract Director, you will be responsible for managing contracts from tender to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts from tender to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams, including site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, including negotiation of contracts and payment terms.
- Monitor and control project costs, including identification of cost savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including regular communication and progress updates.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, including health and safety, quality, and commercial risks.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that projects meet required standards.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, plans, and reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory requirements, including health and safety and quality standards.
