Job Title: Finance Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Assistant in the Accounting & Finance department of a growing firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, invoice processing, and general bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies, identifying and resolving any issues.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing support to the finance team.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience within a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced finance environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software programs, including Excel and accounting systems.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
