Transaction Manager

Location: Edenbridge, Kent
Salary: £35,000 + car bonus, OTE £66,000
This is a full-time, permanent role that involves working regular weekends. The working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, with one day off in the week and working 1 in 3 Sundays, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Our client is a prestigious car brand with a total of 30 businesses providing sales, service, and accident repair services across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire.
As a Transaction Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profit targets with the sales team while ensuring that the company's sales processes are followed and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Distribute and manage sales leads
- Meet customers at the negotiation stage of the sales process
- Produce finance quotes and proposals
- Part-exchange appraisals and valuations
- Assist the sales team with closing deals
- Review sales team activity and follow-ups
- Mentor and develop the sales team
- Aim to achieve 100% customer referral with sales executive interaction
- Analyze current procedures and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist the management team in planning, forecasting, trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis
A proven track record in the vehicle sales environment is essential, along with excellent customer communication skills. This is an ideal role for a Senior Sales Executive to take their first step into Sales Management or someone who has previously held the position of either Transaction Manager or Business Manager. A strong understanding of finance suppliers and packages is essential, along with excellent negotiation skills and a full and valid driving license.
