Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished administrative professional to join the All Age Safeguarding Team as the All Age Safeguarding Admin Team Manager.

As the Admin Team Manager, you will proactively lead a flexible and dynamic team to support the All Age Safeguarding Team across the Trust. This will include the management of your own and other team members' workload, the development and maintenance of effective IT systems, and the direct management of 7 administrators.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who will fit well into a multi-discipline, multi-agency team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience of a busy office environment. We are looking for a team player with great interpersonal skills.

Main Duties of the Job

  1. To deal proactively with correspondence and other forms of communication on behalf of the team, liaising with other offices/organisations/service users to collect and exchange information.
  2. Working flexibly across the organisation, covering the work of colleagues during peak periods or absence.
  3. Analysing and interpreting information and explaining this clearly to other staff as appropriate.
  4. Review the communication systems for staff, patients, and/or external sources using appropriate communication tools.
  5. Conduct team meetings and informal and formal consultation to staff on work objectives, changes, and dissemination of all relevant information to departments, external, and internal users (dissemination of minutes, memos).
  6. Involves staff in decisions that may affect them as appropriate.
  7. Work collaboratively as part of an integrated team.
