Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading an engineering cost centre and overseeing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an engineering cost centre, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
  • Utilize the latest design software to create and manage structural designs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of structures and materials.
  • Implement company policies and ensure adherence across the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex structural engineering challenges.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
