Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex structural engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an engineering cost centre(s) for our region, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
- Utilize the latest design software to create and manage structural designs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of structures and materials.
- Implement company policies and ensure adherence across your team, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
