About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trust Grade Doctor to join our Same Day Emergency Care team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients referred to Same Day Emergency Care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement new pathways and protocols to improve patient outcomes and streamline our services.
  • Collaborate with our emergency medicine consultants and other specialties to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to the development of our research and quality improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • ALS certification.
  • Experience in emergency medicine and acute care, with a minimum of one year post-Foundation training.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
