Join Our Team as a Same Day Emergency Care Doctor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated doctor to join our Same Day Emergency Care team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Same Day Emergency Care Doctor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our innovative Same Day Emergency Care service.

About the Role

The Same Day Emergency Care Doctor will work alongside our experienced team to coordinate the assessment, investigation, and appropriate clinical review for patients referred to our service. You will be responsible for taking a lead in the assessment and treatment of patients allocated to Same Day Emergency Care, working closely with our Emergency Medicine consultants and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the assessment, investigation, and clinical review of patients referred to Same Day Emergency Care
  • Working closely with Emergency Medicine consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborating with the SDEC team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical developments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months' experience in the NHS, specifically in urgent and emergency care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training
