Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Practitioner to join our Foundation Learning team at Weston College. As a Specialist Practitioner, you will play a key role in the marketing and promotion of our Specialist Provision, working closely with external partners, employers, and other key agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and develop strong relationships with employers, ensuring progress is robustly monitored.
- Develop new placement opportunities and maintain effective communication with employers to achieve high employer satisfaction.
- Carry out initial, formative, and summative assessments to establish support needs and track progress through vocational profiling.
- Relevant successful SEND experience.
- Evidence of previous success in gaining employment outcomes with learners with SEND.
- Knowledge and understanding of learning difficulties and disabilities and how these may affect the way students learn.
- Skills in the development and implementation of individual learning programmes.
