About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). As a key member of our Adult Therapies Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dietetic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive dietetic services to patients across various clinical pathways, including acute inpatient beds and outpatients.
  • Provide expert dietetic advice to patients with complex nutritional needs, including enteral and parenteral feeding.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide ongoing support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with senior specialist dietitians, team leaders, and operational and professional leads to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in dietetics.
  • Postgraduate qualification in nutrition or dietetics.
  • Clinical supervisory skills and experience in teaching and training.
  • Desirable: BDA membership, PEN Group Clinical Update Course, and Behaviour Change Course.
