Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support, aligning with individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, incorporating clinical expertise and innovative approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in learning disability care.
Requirements
- Nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN, or RGN)
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to drive and use own transport on Brandon Trust business (desirable)
