We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Solicitor/Legal Executive/Barrister to join our Contracts team, providing expert legal services to our Council client and external organisations.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal services, including:

  • Conducting legal research and providing advice on procurement law, contract law, and subsidy control
  • Drafting, negotiating, and completing commercial contracts and tender documentation
  • Providing robust client-focused advice on contract standing orders, financial regulations, and other applicable legal and practical constraints
  • Assisting in the sourcing, establishing, registering, and running of legal and corporate vehicles, including companies, community interest companies, charities, and social enterprises
