Job Title: Adult Social Care Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor to join our team at AMADA Senior Care Mesa. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients in the field of adult social care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of adult social care files, providing legal advice and guidance to our clients and their families.
  • Represent clients in Court of Protection proceedings, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
  • Advise on the availability of services to meet the social care needs of adults under the Care Act 2014.
  • Review and challenge local authority decisions to refuse care and support.
  • Provide guidance on funding care and support for individuals who do not meet the means test for local authority-funded care.
  • Represent clients at case-related meetings and conduct advocacy in court as necessary.
  • Adhere to the Legal Services Unit's quality standards (Lexcel) and maintain professional standards.
  • Handle confidential data sensitively and securely in accordance with policy.
Requirements:
  • Strong legal knowledge in adult social care and mental health law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
