About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality social work services to adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop care plans for adults with mental health needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other stakeholders on social work practice and policy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social work policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support junior social workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide effective social work services.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of social work practice.
Requirements
  • Professional Social Work qualification, DipSW, CQSW, CSS, BA, MA or Foreign qualification where certified by the Professional Social Work regulatory body.
  • Current registration with the Professional Social Work regulatory body.
  • Experience of working with adults with mental health needs and their carers.
  • Good keyboard/IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and PowerPoint.
  • An ongoing commitment to personal and professional development.
