About the Role

As a social worker in this role, you will be responsible for advocating and working with adults with complex mental health needs. You will provide active involvement in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of service user care, working collaboratively and effectively using evidence-based interventions to develop support and services appropriate to people's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social work services to adults with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for service users
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and carers
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Professional social work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, BA, MA, or foreign equivalent)
  • Current registration with the Professional Social Work regulatory body
  • Experience of working with adults with complex mental health needs
  • Good keyboard/IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and PowerPoint
  • An ongoing commitment to personal and professional development
