Family Court Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Court Adviser to join our team in Stafford and Stoke areas. As a Family Court Adviser, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to the Family Courts on the best course of action for children and young people.
About the RoleIn this role, you will use your social work skills and experience to understand the needs, wants, and feelings of children and young people. You will then advise the Family Courts on the best course of action, providing confident, powerful, and succinct written case analysis and making recommendations to the court. You will also attend court and be an advocate for the child, ensuring their voice is not lost.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to the Family Courts on the best course of action for children and young people
- Use social work skills and experience to understand the needs, wants, and feelings of children and young people
- Attend court and be an advocate for the child, ensuring their voice is not lost
- Provide confident, powerful, and succinct written case analysis and make recommendations to the court
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Social Work England registered social worker with demonstrable experience of working with children and families over a sustained period. You will also need to be organised, resilient, and able to work independently.
