About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) to join our team as a Part-time ESOL Tutor. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching both accredited and non-accredited provision up to, and including, level 2 qualifications (including ESOL Skills for Life).

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach ESOL classes to adult learners, adapting to their needs and abilities
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of ESOL programs and services

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching ESOL, preferably in a community setting
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, including evenings
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable)
  • Basic DBS check (required)
