About the Junior Meat Processing Specialist Role at Neil Powell Master Butchers

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the butchery team in various aspects of meat processing, packaging, and sanitation
  • Preparing meat products for retail presentation
  • Assisting with the arrangement of butchery displays and ensuring clear and appealing signage
  • Carrying out general retail responsibilities
  • Welcoming and engaging with customers, offering guidance and responding to inquiries
  • Helping with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Receiving large meat deliveries, which may involve heavy lifting
  • Complying with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

  • Competent in English and Mathematics
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certification (preferred)

  • Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
