Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the financial operations of Eggtooth, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement business plans and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.
- Manage and supervise a team of financial staff, including bookkeepers and accountants.
- Proven experience in financial management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Experience in managing multiple, diverse income streams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks in a demanding environment.
- Part or fully qualified accountant/bookkeeper within ACA/ACCA, AAT or QBE or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of the voluntary, third sector, or charity sector and its financial culture.
- Experience of supporting an organization at a time of growth and transition.
- Business acumen, sound financial accounting skills, and knowledge of relevant financial regulations, reporting standards, and legal requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel) and Google Suite.
- Attention to detail with the ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
- Resilience and the ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information so that it is accessible and easily understood.
- Ability to identify and implement systems advantageous to improving quality and efficiency.
