About the Role:

The ideal candidate will execute administrative and procurement activities required by the Provisioning area of the LATAM region in full alignment with the approved processes by GP.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the registration of required suppliers by the Operations team of the LATAM region in the Oracle system: review, process, and approve new requests and reactivate those on hold when necessary.
  • Interact with the Global Supplier Management team to obtain approvals.
  • Manage the commodity procurement process for their region, conducting competitions and negotiating corresponding agreements.
  • When necessary, search for new commodity suppliers in the region that meet the specifications previously defined by Management.
  • Ensure that commodity suppliers receive their payments on time and with accuracy. Be responsible for the receipt and validation of invoices and the initiation of the payment process in coordination with the Accounting team.
  • Work closely with the LATAM Provisioning Manager to keep the supplier registration up-to-date.
  • Interact with the Operations team to provide services related to commodity supplies as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of service procurement in the LATAM market, provided by natural and legal persons.
  • Excellent knowledge of official regulations for contracting and paying suppliers of services.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • High capacity to face requests with tight deadlines with a high level of energy and a strong commitment to corporate procedures.
  • Excellent communication; solid planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a high-speed environment.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Solid teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle will be highly valued.
