Senior Instrument Designer Opportunity

Wood Digital Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Designer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for designing and developing instrument and control systems for our clients in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop instrument and control systems for oil and gas projects
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new design standards and procedures
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved project schedules and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and MS products
  • Experience working in P&ID, Loop drawings, and ISO drafting
  • SC security clearance
  • Experience working on the Sellafield site
  • Knowledge of fibre optic systems and communications
